Payment

Prepayment in some way is required. The easiest way of paying is to transfer money directly to my account or paying with VISA or MasterCard. The creditcard payment is handled with 3D-secure technology if you prefer an SSL DIBS-payment-gateway.

The best way of placing an order is to log in before you start. You will then get the proper prices depending on if you are outside or inside the European community. VAT will be deducted and the proper delivery fee will be added.

Customers situated within Sweden
If you are situated within Sweden you will pay the prices with Swedish VAT included. I will also add a 40 kr delivery fee. The correct prices depending on were you are situaded are shown when you have logged in.

Customer situated within Europe not in Sweden
If you are a resident of Europe you will pay the prices with Swedish VAT included. I will also add a 10 Euro delivery fee. The correct prices depending on were you are situaded are shown when you have logged in.

Customer situated outside of Europe
If you are situated outside of Europe all prices will be substracted from Swedish VAT (25%). I will also add a 17 $ delivery fee of the order.

If necessary customs fees are paid by the Customer.

Payment
Prepayment is required. There is lot of different ways of doing this. You can either transfer money directly from your bank, use postalgiro. ATM, Mastercard or VISA. If you have other idears let me know and I look into that.

Some banks in the US suspend account if orders are made outside the US
It has come to my knowledge thanks to a customer who put much effort in putting an order in my webshop. He is an American with a regular credit card (company card). He tried to make the transaction four times and after this he contacted me and told me that the technique wasn´t working. I contacted my support and they said that everything was correct up to the American bank. My customer was nice enough to put the energy into contacting the bank and they answered that they never authorised transaction this far away in Europe?! I should mention that most of the time everything work just fine but some banks are  still this conservative.

After this incident I have had a few more customers like this from the US who has banks who suspend the account until they verify the order if it is put outsede the US.  The bank is supposed to call the client but they don´t always do. When this happen I appreciate a mail so I can keep track and also try and make the Swedish banks make the abroad banks cooperate better.

3D secured site
This site is using 3D secure. This is called Verified by VISA and MasterCard call it SecureCode. This is an extra secure way of paying with a password control.

DIBS
This site operates with DIBS-payment-gateway, compliant with state-of-the-art security standards, including PCI certification.

Why I don´t take checks and moneyorders
Paying with checks can be a bit difficult since the banks have their rules of what to cash and not (Eurochecks are not valid here). Checks and money orders are expensive to cash in Sweden therefore I've decided not to allow these.

Delivery
Most items are hand crafted after your order is received. Delivery time is 2-6 weeks depending on your order. If you are in a hurry. Send me a mail and I let you know how fast I can make your jewelry. During Christmas I try and have a few items ready to gow directly but send me a mail before putting the order and I let you know.

The GPO delivers within Europe within 5 working days and outside of Europe within 9 days most of the time. You can check Letters from customers where I inform about city and deliverytime below the letter.

Returning items
Ordered items can be returned within a period of two weeks. The two week period start from the day the items have been picked up at the GPO office or recived by the mailbox. If you like to return your items or some of the items just enclose a note with your name so that I can track the order. The customer pays the return cost. If there was something wrong with your goods when receiving them you can return the items and 4Vikings.com will refund you. The sum will be transferred to your account after contacting you.

How to proceed and pay

*Customer surf the web shop and place the items in the basket. To get the correct prices you need to be logged if not prices will be shown in euro and counted as if you are within Europe.

*When you have put your items in your basket and want to proceed with the buying. You press "go to basket" up to the right. You have to log in to proceed the buying and get the proper prices. Prices is shown in Euro if you are inside Europe but outside of Sweden, Swedish Krones if you are inside of Sweden and Dollars if you are outside of Europe.

*When you confirm your order you will be asked to choose how to pay on a secured webpage. If you would like to pay by banktransfering, more details about this will follow in the order confirmation. If you would like to pay with Credit Card you can use VISA and Master Card.

*Payment is completed if you use credit card.

*Customer receives an order confirmation by mail directly after placing the order. In it you can see what you ordered, address to where it will be sent and total sum i.e. what to pay (if you choose to transfer). You also receive details of how to pay if this has not been done since prepayment is required. If you don´t recieve an order confirmaton by mail I appreciate if you send me a mail in case I have some questions about your jewelry and also information of when the parcel is being sent.

*Customer receive an e-mail when product is being sent to the customer.
