The collection is namned ”Lilla Dalom” (Little Dalecarlia) and consists of a dress, a bonnet, a hood sweater and kneebreeches. The garments are made of Swedish tricot and are designed with the baby’s little soft and sensitive body in mind.

The founders of Emy Little are the Kax’ sisters (Åsa and Karin) from the oldest town in Dalecarlia – Hedemora. The roots are important to the creativity says the sisters and the brand is namned after their grandmother – Emy spellt with one m.

– We made our own interpretation of the tradtional peasant cosutmes used in Dalecarlia in the 1900th century. It’s one part nostalgia and one part a comment to the strong rustic tradition in Sweden, says Karin, the youngest of the sisters.

– And what a lovely sight – babies in our soft peasant costumes at Christmas, New Year, Easter or weddings, and even ordinary weekdays, smiles Åsa.
